With so many great ideas out there I wanted to start putting a few of this ideas down.

I find that most people need a place to start from.
So I want to help. Are looking help with Excel or want to learn how to use a sheet. Maybe even complete a take off. Or how to price a project.

Here are a few productions I use all the time when I am creating a structural fabrication steel estiamte.
Typical welding Inchs:
Flat - 100 Inch per hour per pass
Horizantal - 75 Inch per hour per pass
Vertial - 65 Inch per hour per pass
The above welding inchs are based on using Fluxcore in a shop setting
Standard stick wielding adds on 10 to 15 inch per our.
The above rates are based on a average welder.
